Every now and then, you see something so ridiculous, so absurd, you have to do a double take (sometimes a triple take).

Here's one I saw today with the area in question highlighted...

So i'm a couple months in now with using OSX Tiger, and having "Switched" from my XP box.

I'm really enjoying it in all honesty. The stability between the 2 OS's is honestly about the same, but to me, having a design background, I can appreciate (and am willing to pay for) the care and energy that went into creating such a beautiful interface, and using that imagery day in and day out for all my computing activities. Pretty packages have been a basis of fashion, identity, and power since the dawn of history... If you don't mind ugly, buy XP.

Windows Longhorn or "LongWait" still isn't slated to be released for another year or so last I checked, and even then i'm guessing 1/2 the features i'm already using in OSX won't be copied or borrowed. (I heard Apple is referred to as "Microsoft Research and Development South" at MS Campus.

So the Angels lost to the White Sox. The White Sox out played and out pitched us. Period. I tip my cap to them. Forget all of the questionable calls we could not hit anything, and I give them the credit they deserve. They wanted it more than we did. No one can win without hitting the ball, and everyone was pressing it so much on the Angels.

I believe we left it all in the Yankees series. Now the Angels need to take a step back, see where they are and what they need to correct their weaknesses (offense).

As a side note i've been hearing alot of smack talk from Yankee fans. The Yankees had far less business being in the post season than the Angels, so I shouldn't have to hear it from any of them... As long as they lost first to us, I'm okay with everything.

Nothing like being heckled by fans of a team who's butts we've kicked everytime we've faced them in the postseason. The White Sox beat us fair and square. Congrats to them. They beat us and we beat you.. That's the bottom line.

Light up the Halo baby! Angels WIN! Thinking about it now, I'd rather lose game 1 and win game 2. Keeps the momentum going into Yankee stadium, just like '02.

Pretty Boy Manhattan grounded out by K-Rod! I love it. B-Mo has been CLUTCH! Two homeruns in two days in the playoffs... He's basically our only bat thats hot.



As a side note: The last 5 ALDS series involving the Yankees, the team that won game 1 lost the series.

So Krisdee and I were fortunate enough to get Postseason Tix. Had a great time despite the Halos losing to the Yanks. Its a deep hole to dig yourself out of when you go down 4 runs in 1.5 innings.

By the time we got to our seats it was already 0-3 Yanks. Unfortunate. The Moose looked good, and Colon looked pretty good after he settled down.

Either way its a good feat to hold the Yanks to 0 runs for almost 8 innings. This game was another demonstration as to why we need another bat.

Just like '02, the Angels will have to defeat the Yankees to move on to the World Series. Luckily we have secured home field advantage, so we will have that going for us to help keep the momentum going.

Kayla was a bit worried we'd have to play the BoSox when I snapped the above pic. She's much better now knowing that its just the Yankees.
