Boston won last night! YES! I am a Yankee-Hater so this is great. I'm not dreaming. How ironic that the Sox win and break the curse during a total lunar eclipse...

Some more oddities:
BoSox are the only team to come back to win 4 in a row post season after being down 3 games.
BoSox are the only team to have 4 errors in game 1 and win. And then in game 2, another 4 errors and win again!

BoSox are the only team to win 8 in a row post season.

The Cards never led over the BoSox. Not once.

The final series winning out was Edgar Renteria #3 who was an easy out at first. #3 was the Babe's number.

The first 2 to congratulate each other on the field were Kapler and Johnny Damon. #19 Gabe Kapler #18 Johnny Damon, Their 2 jersey numbers next to each other was one of the shots on TV. 1918..

Heard this on KNX today.

"[A]uthorities say they can't explain why Beverly Valentine, 54, broke into an empty home and started acting like it was her own. "During the two and a half weeks the owner, Beverly Mitchell, was on vacation in Greece, Valentine allegedly redecorated the ranch home, ripping up carpet and taking down the owner's pictures and replacing them with her own."

She also brought in her own washer and dryer, along with her dog, and started wearing Mitchell's clothes. On top of that, she had the electricity changed to her name from Mitchell's.

Crazy people I understand. Vagrants and squatters I understand. But a crazy squatter with her own washer and dryer? Gotta be a first.
